Indications

Celon is a chemotherapeutic drug indicated in the treatment of various types of cancer, including but not limited to:

  • Breast cancer
  • Acute lymphoblastic leukemia
  • Hematological neoplasms
  • Ovarian cancer

Cyclophosphamide acts as an alkylating agent, interfering with the DNA replication of cancer cells, which contributes to their destruction and the inhibition of tumor growth. It is commonly used in polychemotherapy regimens.

Composition

Each Celon ampule contains cyclophosphamide as the active ingredient, along with excipients necessary for its formulation. The concentration of cyclophosphamide in each ampule is 1000 mg.

Contraindications

Celon is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to cyclophosphamide or any of the components of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe infections, severe renal insufficiency, and in those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless its use is justified after medical evaluation.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with impaired liver function, as well as in those receiving concomitant treatments that may increase the drug's toxicity. Regular monitoring of blood counts and renal function is recommended during treatment. Its use is not recommended in elderly individuals without due medical evaluation.

Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
