Indications
Celestone Pediatric solution is indicated for the treatment of various conditions requiring an anti-inflammatory and/or immunosuppressive effect. It is used in the management of allergic diseases, autoimmune diseases, and certain dermatological conditions. It may also be indicated in the treatment of asthma and obstructive respiratory diseases, as well as in cases of adrenal insufficiency. Its use must be supervised by a physician, who will evaluate the need and appropriate dosage for each pediatric patient.
Composition
Each 100 ml of solution contains 50 mg of betamethasone, as well as excipients necessary for its formulation. It is important to check the product label for a complete list of components.
Contraindications
Celestone Pediatric should not be administered to patients with known hypersensitivity to betamethasone or other corticosteroids, as well as in those with uncontrolled systemic infections. It is contraindicated in patients with peptic ulcers, severe osteoporosis, and in those with untreated viral infections.
Precautions
Caution is advised in patients with diabetes mellitus, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, and in those with a history of recurrent infections. Prolonged use of corticosteroids can lead to serious adverse effects, so constant medical monitoring is suggested during treatment. It is essential not to discontinue treatment abruptly without the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
