Indications
Celestamine Ns is indicated for the treatment of various allergic conditions that require symptom control related to inflammation and allergic response. It is used in the management of allergic rhinitis, urticaria, and other allergic manifestations that may require the use of an antihistamine and a corticosteroid. Its combination of loratadine, a non-sedating antihistamine, and betamethasone, a corticosteroid, allows for effective reduction of inflammation and symptoms associated with allergic reactions.
Composition
Each tablet contains: Loratadine 5 mg and Betamethasone 0.25 mg.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of systemic infections, ocular herpes simplex, or systemic fungal infections. Likewise, its use should be avoided in patients with severe gastrointestinal diseases or coagulation disorders.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of hypertension, diabetes, viral infections, and in those who are being treated with other immunosuppressive medications. Pregnant or breastfeeding women are advised to consult a physician before starting treatment. It is important to monitor the response to treatment to adjust the dose if necessary.
