Indications
Caudaline is indicated for the treatment of intermittent claudication in patients with peripheral arterial disease. Its action is based on the inhibition of platelet aggregation and vasodilation, which improves blood flow and reduces claudication symptoms. This medication can also be used in the management of Raynaud's syndrome and other peripheral circulatory disorders. It is important to note that the use of Cilostazol should be complemented with non-pharmacological measures, such as physical exercise and lifestyle changes, to achieve a significant improvement in the patient's quality of life.
Composition
Each Caudaline tablet contains 100 mg of Cilostazol as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its absorption and stability.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with congestive heart failure, as well as in those with known hypersensitivity to Cilostazol or any of the excipients. Furthermore, its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiac arrhythmias, uncontrolled hypertension, and those who are undergoing treatment with anticoagulants or antiplatelet medications. Regular medical follow-up is essential to assess the efficacy and safety of the treatment.
