Indications
Caudaline is indicated for the treatment of intermittent claudication in patients with peripheral arterial disease. This medication acts as a phosphodiesterase inhibitor, causing vasodilation and improving blood flow in the extremities. Additionally, it is used to reduce leg pain symptoms when walking and to improve the distance patients can walk without experiencing pain. Its use is indicated in combination with lifestyle changes, such as diet modification and physical activity, to optimize therapeutic results.
Composition
Each Caudaline tablet contains 100 mg of Cilostazol as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation.
Contraindications
Caudaline is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Cilostazol or any of the formula's components. It should not be administered to patients with congestive heart failure, as it may worsen the condition. It is also contraindicated in those receiving treatments that may interact negatively with Cilostazol.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Caudaline to patients with a history of cardiac arrhythmias, kidney disease, or liver disease. Monitoring of cardiovascular and renal function is recommended in patients initiating treatment. Likewise, concomitant use with certain medications that may increase the risk of adverse events should be avoided.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and protect from direct light.
