Indications
Cataflam Ped Suspension is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory and painful conditions in pediatrics. It is used in the management of fever, acute pain, and as an adjuvant in the treatment of rheumatic diseases. It is effective in relieving postoperative pain, dental pain, and in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, among others.
Composition
Each milliliter of suspension contains:
- Diclofenac sodium: 1.8 mg
- Excipients: sufficient quantity for 1 ml
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to diclofenac or any other component of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with active peptic ulcer, severe renal failure, severe hepatic failure, or in cases of severe heart failure. It is also contraindicated in pregnant women during the third trimester.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, bleeding disorders, or those undergoing treatment with anticoagulants. It is advisable to monitor renal and hepatic function during treatment. Its use in combination with other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs without medical supervision is not recommended.
Storage
Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 °C, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
