Indications
Cataflam Junior is indicated for the treatment of pain and inflammation in conditions such as:
- Acute pain, including postoperative pain.
- Pain associated with menstrual cramps.
- Osteoarticular and joint pain in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis.
- Symptomatic treatment of fever.
Diclofenac, as an active ingredient, acts by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are mediators of pain and inflammation, thus providing effective relief in various painful conditions.
Composition
Each Cataflam Junior tablet contains:
- Diclofenac potassium: 25 mg
- Excipients: Lactose, starch, cellulose, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with:
- Known hypersensitivity to diclofenac or any of the excipients.
- Active peptic ulcer or history of recurrent ulcers.
- Severe renal failure.
- Active inflammatory bowel diseases.
- Third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with:
- Heart, liver, or kidney disease.
- History of gastrointestinal diseases.
- Asthma, as it may induce allergic reactions in some patients.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
