Indications
Caste (Tadalafil) is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in adult men. Erectile dysfunction is characterized by the inability to achieve or maintain an erection adequate for satisfactory sexual intercourse. Tadalafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, which helps to achieve and maintain an erection. This medication can also be administered in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension, improving exercise capacity in patients with this condition.
Composition
Each Caste tablet contains 20 mg of Tadalafil as the active ingredient, and excipients that facilitate the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to tadalafil or any component of the formulation. It should not be administered to patients who are taking nitrates in any form, as it can cause a significant decrease in blood pressure. Likewise, it is contraindicated in patients with a history of myocardial infarction, stroke, or severe heart failure.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with pre-existing cardiovascular diseases, such as unstable angina, uncontrolled hypertension, or arrhythmias. The use of Caste in combination with other treatments for erectile dysfunction is not recommended. It is important to undergo a medical examination prior to initiating treatment to rule out possible contraindications and assess the patient's general health.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
