Indications
Carbamazepine is indicated in the treatment of various forms of epilepsy, including partial and generalized epilepsy. It is also used in the management of bipolar affective disorder, especially in manic episodes, and in the treatment of neuropathic pain, such as trigeminal neuralgia. It is essential that the use of this medication be under the supervision of a physician, who will assess the need for treatment and adjust the dosage according to the patient's response.
Composition
Each Carbazina tablet contains 200 mg of carbamazepine as an active ingredient, in addition to excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
Carbamazepine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to carbamazepine or any of the excipients. It should not be administered to patients with a history of severe skin reactions related to carbamazepine use, as well as those with second- or third-degree atrioventricular block without a pacemaker. Likewise, its use is contraindicated in pregnant women, unless strictly necessary.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of liver, kidney, or hematological disease. Regular monitoring of carbamazepine blood levels is important to avoid toxicity. Use in elderly patients may require dosage adjustments due to changes in pharmacokinetics. In addition, interaction with other medications the patient is taking should be evaluated.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
