Indications
Caltron 600+D is indicated for the prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiencies in patients at risk of osteoporosis, as well as in those requiring additional supplementation of these nutrients. It is particularly useful in postmenopausal women and older individuals who may not get enough calcium from their diet. It is also recommended for those with conditions affecting calcium absorption, such as gastrointestinal diseases or certain metabolic disorders. Its use is suggested in combination with an exercise program and an adequate diet to maximize bone health benefits.
Composition
Each Caltron 600+D tablet contains:
- Calcium (as calcium carbonate) 600 mg
- Ergocalciferol (Vitamin D2) 400 IU
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with hypercalcemia or hypervitaminosis D. Its use is not recommended in cases of severe kidney disease or in patients receiving thiazide diuretic therapy, unless directed by a physician.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using this product in patients with a history of kidney stones, heart disease, or those undergoing treatment with medications that may affect calcium metabolism. Regular monitoring of blood calcium levels is recommended, especially during prolonged treatments.

- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
