Indications
Calcort (Deflazacort) is indicated for the treatment of various inflammatory and autoimmune conditions. It is used in the management of diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and obstructive respiratory diseases. Additionally, it is effective in the treatment of hematological disorders and in the management of certain allergic conditions. This medication helps reduce inflammation and suppress the immune system, which can be beneficial in various pathologies where an exacerbated immune response is present.
Composition
Each Calcort tablet contains 30 mg of Deflazacort as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients such as lactose, starch, and other inactive components that allow for the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
Calcort is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Deflazacort or any of the product's excipients. It is also contraindicated in untreated systemic infections, in patients with active peptic ulcers, and in those with acute viral diseases.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Calcort to patients with hypertension, diabetes, infections, osteoporosis, or psychiatric diseases. These patients should be carefully monitored due to the potential side effects of glucocorticoid treatment. Furthermore, dose adjustment should be considered in cases of renal or hepatic insufficiency.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
