Indications
Bykypad (lymecycline) is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to the action of lymecycline. It is used in the treatment of respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, and certain skin and soft tissue infections. This medication is effective in the treatment of conditions such as pneumonia, bronchitis, and some gastrointestinal infections. Its use is recommended in situations where a broad-spectrum antibiotic is required, always under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Composition
Each Bykypad capsule contains 300 mg of lymecycline as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.
Contraindications
Bykypad is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lymecycline or other tetracycline class antibiotics. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women, or in children under 8 years of age due to the risk of adverse effects on dental and bone development.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering this medication to patients with a history of liver or kidney diseases, as well as those with a history of antibiotic-associated colitis. Medical follow-up during treatment is important to detect possible adverse reactions. Excessive exposure to sun or ultraviolet light sources is not recommended during treatment, as it may increase the risk of photosensitivity.
