Indications

Buvacaine is indicated for local anesthesia in surgical procedures, as well as for the management of acute and chronic pain. It is used in peripheral nerve blocks and epidural anesthesia. Bupivacaine provides a prolonged anesthetic effect, ideal for interventions requiring effective and long-lasting pain control. Its use must be carried out by trained medical personnel, always considering the patient's evaluation and the type of procedure to be performed.

Composition

Each ampoule of Buvacaine contains 150 mg of Bupivacaine in sterile solution. Excipients: sodium chloride, water for injection.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Bupivacaine or to any other amide-type local anesthetic. It should not be administered in the presence of infections at the injection site or in patients with certain medical conditions that may increase the risk of adverse effects, such as bleeding disorders or severe cardiac conditions.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with liver, kidney, or heart disease. It is essential to monitor patients for signs of toxicity, especially in prolonged procedures or at high doses. The administration of Bupivacaine must be carried out by a medical professional experienced in anesthesia techniques.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
