Indications
Buscapina Fem is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of abdominal cramps, especially those related to the menstrual cycle. The combination of hyoscine and ibuprofen provides an antispasmodic and analgesic effect that relieves pain and discomfort associated with gastrointestinal tract spasms and menstrual pain. Additionally, it can be used in cases of discomfort associated with functional bowel disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions for proper and safe use, observing the recommended doses.
Composition
Each Buscapina Fem tablet contains 20 mg of hyoscine and 400 mg of ibuprofen as active ingredients, in addition to the excipients necessary for the medication's formulation.
Contraindications
Buscapina Fem is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components. It should not be used in patients with a history of active peptic ulcer, severe renal failure, severe liver diseases, as well as in those with gastrointestinal bleeding or coagulation disorders.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with asthma, heart disease, hypertension, moderate renal or hepatic insufficiency. Prolonged use of the medication without medical supervision is not recommended. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
