Indications
Buscapina Compostium is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of abdominal colic, gastrointestinal tract spasms, and conditions associated with colicky pain, such as dysmenorrhea. The combination of Hyoscine, an antispasmodic, acts by relaxing the smooth muscles of the digestive system and the uterus, while Metamizole provides an analgesic effect that helps reduce associated pain. This medication is useful in situations where rapid and effective relief of abdominal pain is sought. Its use is recommended for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age. It is important to note that prolonged use should be supervised by a doctor.
Composition
Each tablet contains: 10 mg Hyoscine (hyoscine bromide) and 250 mg Metamizole (metamizole sodium).
Contraindications
Buscapina Compostium is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components, in those with closed-angle glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, gastrointestinal obstruction, or in cases of severe renal or hepatic insufficiency. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe hematological diseases, such as agranulocytosis or aplastic anemia.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of asthma, cardiovascular diseases, or those who are undergoing concomitant treatment with other medications that may cause central nervous system depression. It is advisable to avoid the use of this medication in the first trimester of pregnancy and during lactation, unless medically indicated.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature (between 15 and 30 °C). Keep out of reach of children.
