Indications
Buscapina is indicated for the treatment of spasms of the gastrointestinal tract, including abdominal cramps, and in the management of symptoms associated with biliary disorders, as well as in the reduction of smooth muscle contractions in the urinary tract. It is also used in the treatment of spasms during diagnostic or surgical procedures. Its antispasmodic action helps relieve pain and discomfort caused by involuntary muscle contractions.
Composition
Each Buscapina ampoule contains 20 mg of Hyoscine (also known as scopolamine) as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate the formulation and administration of the medication.
Contraindications
Buscapina is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Hyoscine or any of the product's excipients. It should not be administered in cases of narrow-angle glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, or in patients with gastrointestinal or urinary tract obstruction. Furthermore, its use in pregnant and breastfeeding women should be evaluated by a doctor.
Precautions
It is important that Buscapina be used with caution in individuals with a history of heart disease, hypertension, and in those patients who may experience adverse effects related to the central nervous system. Medical supervision is recommended in cases of prolonged use or in elderly patients.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
