Indications
Bufigen (Nalbuphine) is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. Its use is recommended in situations where effective pain relief is required, such as in postoperative care, in cancer patients, or in acute conditions that cause severe pain. It can also be used in the management of pain associated with chronic diseases. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions to determine the appropriate dose and frequency of administration, taking into account the patient's response to the treatment.
Composition
Each ml of solution contains 10 mg of Nalbuphine as an active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow for the formulation of the product.
Contraindications
Bufigen should not be administered to patients with known hypersensitivity to Nalbuphine or to any component of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe respiratory depression, in those with brain injuries or in a coma, as well as in patients with severe liver failure.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Bufigen to patients with a history of substance abuse, depression, or psychiatric disorders. In addition, patients with chronic respiratory diseases or kidney failure should be monitored. The administration of Nalbuphine in combination with other central nervous system depressants may potentiate sedative effects.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children and protect from light. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
