Indications
Brospina is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain, as well as in situations where effective pain management is required. It is commonly used in patients with oncological diseases, post-operative patients, or in conditions requiring specialized analgesic control. Buprenorphine, its active ingredient, acts on opioid receptors in the central nervous system, providing pain relief. This medication can also be used in opioid dependence treatment programs, under appropriate medical supervision.
Composition
Each Brospina ampoule contains: 0.3 mg of buprenorphine and excipients necessary for its formulation.
Contraindications
Brospina is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to buprenorphine or to any of the excipients. It should not be administered to patients with severe respiratory diseases, such as bronchial asthma or respiratory failure, and in those with a history of substance abuse.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Brospina to patients with a history of seizures, liver diseases, or to those receiving other medications that may affect respiratory function. Close monitoring is recommended for elderly patients and those with chronic diseases. Additionally, patients should be informed about possible adverse effects and the need to consult a doctor for any unusual symptoms.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
