Indications
Bonnetril 1% Cream is indicated for the treatment of skin infections caused by susceptible fungi, including, but not limited to, dermatophytes and yeasts. It is effective in the treatment of conditions such as ringworm, cutaneous candidiasis, and other types of superficial mycoses. Additionally, it can be used in the treatment of fungal infections in intertriginous areas. Its topical application helps eliminate the fungus and relieve associated symptoms, such as itching, redness, and skin flaking.
Composition
Each 100 g of Bonnetril Cream contains 1 g of Ciclopirox as the active ingredient. Excipients: purified water, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, propylene glycol, among others.
Contraindications
Bonnetril Cream is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ciclopirox or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended on areas of skin with open wounds or on mucous membranes.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Bonnetril Cream in patients with a history of allergic reactions to other antifungals. Do not apply to extensive lesions or areas with concurrent bacterial infections. In case of irritation or adverse reaction, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep in its original container, tightly closed and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
