Bonadoxina is indicated for the treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with various conditions, such as motion sickness, kinetosis, and other etiologies that can cause gastrointestinal symptoms. This medication is especially useful in managing symptoms in patients experiencing dizziness, as well as in those who need to prevent the onset of nausea associated with specific treatments or medical procedures. Furthermore, the combination of Meclizine with Pyridoxine enhances the antiemetic effect, offering more effective symptom relief. The use of Bonadoxina is recommended under medical supervision, considering the specific needs of each patient.

Composition

Each 100 ml of syrup contains: 0.297 g of Meclizine and 0.608 g of Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6).

Contraindications

Bonadoxina is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with a history of severe adverse reactions to antihistamines. Its use is not recommended in patients with angle-closure glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, or severe obstructive respiratory diseases.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Bonadoxina to patients with cardiovascular diseases, a history of seizures, or those who consume alcohol, as it may increase drowsiness and affect the ability to perform activities requiring attention. Additionally, the risk should be evaluated in pregnant or breastfeeding women, and it should only be administered if deemed essential by a physician.
