Indications
Bojidar is indicated for the treatment of acute pain, such as postoperative pain, as well as for the management of chronic painful conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Its mechanism of action is based on the selective inhibition of the COX-2 enzyme, which reduces the synthesis of prostaglandins involved in the inflammatory process and in pain perception. This medication may be useful in the management of acute gout and in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis. It is important that the use of Bojidar is supervised by a healthcare professional, who can determine the most appropriate dose and duration of treatment for each patient.
Composition
Each tablet contains 120 mg of etoricoxib as the active ingredient. Excipients include: lactose monohydrate, starch, magnesium stearate, and others.
Contraindications
Bojidar should not be used in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to etoricoxib or to any of the excipients in the formulation. It is contraindicated in patients with active gastric or duodenal ulcers, and in those with severe hepatic or renal insufficiency. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe cardiovascular diseases, such as decompensated heart failure.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Bojidar to patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, moderate renal or hepatic insufficiency. It is advisable to monitor renal and hepatic function during prolonged treatment. Additionally, the risk of thrombotic events should be considered in patients with cardiovascular risk factors.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
