Indications
Blaxitec Ped is indicated for the treatment of symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, as well as for the relief of chronic idiopathic urticaria in children. Bilastine, its active ingredient, acts as a non-sedating antihistamine, blocking the action of histamine in the body, which helps reduce symptoms such as sneezing, itching, runny nose, and nasal congestion. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions regarding the dose and duration of treatment to ensure its effectiveness and safety in managing these allergic conditions.
Composition
Each ml of Blaxitec Ped contains 2.5 mg of bilastine, as well as excipients that facilitate its administration and absorption.
Contraindications
Blaxitec Ped is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to bilastine or any of the product's excipients. Its use is not recommended in children under 6 months of age. Caution should also be exercised in patients with severe kidney disease.
Precautions
It is recommended to use Blaxitec Ped with caution in patients with a history of heart disease, as well as in those taking other medications that may affect the central nervous system. It is important to evaluate the risk-benefit ratio in patients with pre-existing health problems. Alcohol consumption should be avoided during treatment, as it may enhance the sedative effects of other concomitant medications.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
