Indications
Bisolvon Pediatric Syrup is indicated as an adjunct in the treatment of respiratory diseases characterized by excessive mucus production, facilitating its expulsion. It is useful in cases of bronchitis, pneumonia, and other conditions where mucus fluidization is necessary to improve pulmonary ventilation and secretion clearance. This medication works by breaking the bonds that maintain mucus viscosity, allowing for better expectoration and relieving productive cough.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Bisolvon Pediatric Syrup contains:
- Bromhexine 80 mg
- Excipients q.s.p. 100 ml
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to bromhexine or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with active gastric or intestinal ulcers, or in those with coagulation problems or who are receiving anticoagulants without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with asthma or obstructive pulmonary diseases, as well as in those with a history of allergic reactions. It is important to monitor respiratory function in patients with pre-existing conditions before starting treatment. Use in children should be under strict medical supervision.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
