Indications
Bisolvon Adult is indicated for the treatment of bronchopulmonary diseases characterized by excessive secretion production, such as acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and other conditions where the elimination of mucous secretions needs to be facilitated. Bromhexine acts as a mucolytic, helping to dissolve thick mucus and facilitate its expulsion, thus improving the patient's breathing. Its use is recommended for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
Composition
Each 100 ml of solution contains: Bromhexine hydrochloride 160 mg. Excipients: sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid, purified water.
Contraindications
Bisolvon Adult is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to bromhexine or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be administered in cases of active peptic ulcer, as it may increase gastric mucus secretion.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering this medication to patients with a history of liver or kidney disease. Additionally, it is recommended to evaluate its use in patients with a history of bronchial asthma, as bromhexine may cause bronchospasm in some cases. It is important to follow the instructions of a healthcare professional to avoid complications.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, away from direct light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
