Indications
Bi-Profenid (Ketoprofen) is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic pain, as well as inflammatory conditions. It is used in the management of painful processes such as arthritis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and postoperative pain. It is also effective in the treatment of menstrual pain and in conditions requiring a reduction in inflammation, such as tendinitis and bursitis. Its anti-inflammatory and analgesic action makes it a therapeutic option in situations where pain relief and inflammation control are required.
Composition
Each capsule contains: Ketoprofen 150 mg. Excipients: lactose, starch, talc, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ketoprofen or any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in patients with a history of active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding, as well as in those with severe renal insufficiency, severe heart failure, or during the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of asthma, cardiovascular diseases, and in those who are being treated with anticoagulants. It is advisable to monitor renal and hepatic function during treatment, especially in elderly patients or those with pre-existing diseases. Concomitant use with other NSAIDs is not recommended.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
