Indications

Bi-Profenid (Ketoprofen) is indicated for the treatment of pain and inflammation in various conditions. It is commonly used for the relief of acute pain, such as postoperative pain, muscle pain, and dental pain. It is also effective in the treatment of inflammatory diseases such as arthritis and osteoarthritis. Its anti-inflammatory and analgesic action makes it a suitable option for the therapy of patients requiring pain control, as well as for those with conditions involving inflammatory processes.

Composition

Each Bi-Profenid capsule contains 150 mg of Ketoprofen as the active ingredient. In addition, it contains excipients that allow for the proper formulation of the medication.

Contraindications

Bi-Profenid should not be administered to patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Ketoprofen or any other component of the formula. It is contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal insufficiency, and in those with a history of adverse reactions to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, renal or hepatic insufficiency. Appropriate monitoring is recommended in elderly patients and in those taking other medications that may interact with Ketoprofen. Prolonged use may increase the risk of adverse effects, so it is recommended to use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time.

Store at room temperature, in a cool, dry place, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
