Indications

Benzac Ac Gel 5% is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate acne vulgaris. Benzoyl peroxide acts as an antibacterial and comedolytic agent, which helps reduce the amount of bacteria on the skin and unclog blocked pores. Its topical application allows for effective reduction of acne lesions, improving the appearance of the skin. This medication is suitable for patients experiencing acne breakouts on the face, back, and other body areas. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions to determine the frequency of use and the duration of treatment.

Composition

Each 100 g of gel contains: Benzoyl peroxide 5 g. Excipients: carbomer, purified water, propylene glycol, methylparaben, ethylparaben, among others.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to benzoyl peroxide or any of the excipients. Its use is not recommended on irritated skin, sunburn, or open wounds. Do not apply to mucous membranes or eyes.

Precautions

Prolonged sun exposure should be avoided during treatment with Benzac Ac Gel. It is advisable to use sunscreen and appropriate clothing to protect the skin. Caution should be exercised in patients with sensitive skin or dermatitis. If severe irritation occurs, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep away from light and heat. Protect from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
