Indications

Benzac Ac Gel 2.5% is indicated for the treatment of acne vulgaris. Its formulation contains benzoyl peroxide, an antimicrobial agent that acts on the bacteria responsible for acne, reducing inflammation and promoting skin exfoliation. It is effective in reducing acne lesions, including blackheads, papules, and pustules. This medication is applied directly to the affected areas, allowing for localized action that helps improve the skin's appearance and control acne breakouts.

Composition

Each 100 g of Benzac Ac Gel contains 2.5 g of benzoyl peroxide. Excipients: purified water, glycerin, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, among others.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to benzoyl peroxide or to any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be applied to irritated or damaged skin, or to areas with dermatitis. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without medical supervision.

Precautions

Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and sensitive areas of the skin. A sensitivity test is recommended before applying the gel to the entire affected area. It may cause irritation, redness, or peeling of the skin; if these symptoms occur, it is suggested to reduce the frequency of application or discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
