Indications

Benzac Ac Gel 10% is used in the treatment of acne vulgaris, mainly in forms with inflammatory and non-inflammatory lesions. This gel, containing benzoyl peroxide, acts as a keratolytic and antibacterial agent, which helps reduce the amount of bacteria on the skin and promote the exfoliation of dead cells. Its use is effective in controlling sebum production and preventing the formation of comedones.

Composition

Each 100 g of Benzac Ac Gel 10% contains:

  • Benzoyl peroxide: 10 g
  • Excipients: q.s.p. 100 g

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to benzoyl peroxide or any of the components of the formula. It should not be applied to irritated skin areas or open wounds.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when applying Benzac Ac Gel to sensitive skin or areas with dermatitis. It is advisable to avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and damaged skin areas. It is also recommended not to use in combination with other products containing benzoyl peroxide or exfoliating agents that may increase irritation. In case of severe irritation, discontinue use and consult a physician.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature below 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

Shipping

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
