Indications
Benadryl Syrup is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with allergic conditions, such as seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, as well as in the management of urticaria and other allergic reactions. It is also used for the prevention and treatment of nausea, vomiting, and dizziness associated with motion sickness. Due to its sedative properties, it can be used as an aid in the treatment of occasional insomnia in adults.
Composition
Each 100 ml of syrup contains: Diphenhydramine 250 mg. Excipients: sorbitol, citric acid, coloring, flavorings, and purified water.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to diphenhydramine or any of the product's excipients. It should not be administered to individuals with narrow-angle glaucoma, prostatic hyperplasia, or in cases of severe respiratory insufficiency. It is contraindicated in combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and in patients who are being treated with other antihistamines.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering this medication to patients with heart disease, high blood pressure, asthma, or those who consume alcohol. It may cause drowsiness; therefore, it is recommended to avoid activities requiring full attention, such as driving vehicles or operating heavy machinery. In case of pregnancy or breastfeeding, a doctor should be consulted before use.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, out of reach of children. Do not expose to extreme temperatures or direct light.
