Indications

Benadryl E Syrup is used to relieve allergy symptoms, such as allergic rhinitis and urticaria, due to its antihistamine action. It is also indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with common colds, such as nasal congestion and cough, thanks to the combination of diphenhydramine, which acts as an antihistamine, and guaifenesin, which is an expectorant that helps loosen mucus. This medication is useful in reducing cough and improving breathing by facilitating the expulsion of secretions from the respiratory tract.

Composition

Each 100 ml of syrup contains:
Diphenhydramine: 0.28 g
Guaifenesin: 2 g

Contraindications

This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components. It should not be used in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, urinary retention, or severe liver disease. Likewise, its use in children under 2 years of age and pregnant or breastfeeding women should be evaluated by a doctor.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, asthma, respiratory diseases, or thyroid problems. The use of this medication may cause drowsiness; therefore, driving or operating heavy machinery should be avoided during its use. It is important to inform your doctor about any other medications you are taking to avoid interactions.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
