Indications

Baycuten Cream is indicated for the treatment of skin infections caused by fungi, as well as for the management of inflammatory skin conditions. This medication combines the antifungal properties of clotrimazole with the anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effects of dexamethasone, which allows it to address both infection and inflammation in various dermatological conditions. It is used in the treatment of superficial mycoses, contact dermatitis, and seborrheic dermatitis, among others. The topical application of Baycuten Cream helps to relieve associated symptoms, such as itching and erythema, thus facilitating the recovery of the affected skin.

Composition

Each 100 g of Baycuten Cream contains:

• Clotrimazole 0.04 g
• Dexamethasone 0.50 g

Contraindications

Baycuten Cream is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the components of the formulation, as well as in skin infections caused by viruses, such as herpes simplex or chickenpox. Its use is not recommended for skin lesions secondary to tuberculosis or syphilis.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using Baycuten Cream in patients with a history of allergic reactions to other corticosteroids. Furthermore, its application should be controlled in extensive skin areas or for prolonged periods to avoid systemic adverse effects. It is advisable to avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of irritation or worsening of the condition, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.
