Indications
Azitrocin G is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to azithromycin. These infections may include, but are not limited to, the following conditions:
- Upper respiratory tract infections, such as sinusitis and pharyngitis.
- Lower respiratory tract infections, such as pneumonia and acute bronchitis caused by susceptible bacteria.
- Skin and soft tissue infections.
- Sexually transmitted infections, such as non-gonococcal urethritis and cervicitis.
Azithromycin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, which results in the death of the bacteria responsible for the infection.
Composition
Each Azitrocin G tablet contains 500 mg of azithromycin as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
Azitrocin G is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to azithromycin, other macrolide antibiotics, or any component of the formulation. Caution should also be exercised in patients with a history of severe liver problems.
Precautions
Medical monitoring is recommended for patients with a history of cardiac arrhythmias or those receiving other medications that may prolong the QT interval. Caution should be exercised when administering azithromycin to patients with renal or hepatic impairment. It should not be used in combination with ergotamine or dihydroergotamine due to the risk of ergot toxicity.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
