Indications
Atozet is indicated for the treatment of dyslipidemia, specifically in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia (type IIa) or mixed dyslipidemia (type IIb) as an adjunct to an appropriate diet. This medication can be used in patients who require an additional reduction in LDL cholesterol and apolipoprotein B levels, as well as those who do not achieve adequate lipid control with monotherapy. Atozet is recommended in patients with established cardiovascular disease to reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications by achieving and maintaining adequate blood lipid levels.
Composition
Each Atozet tablet contains 10 mg of Ezetimibe and 40 mg of Atorvastatin.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, in those with active liver disease or persistent elevated transaminases, as well as in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Its use is not recommended in patients with conditions that may cause myositis or rhabdomyolysis.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with a history of liver disease, kidney failure, and those who are being treated with other medications that may increase the risk of adverse effects. Regular monitoring of transaminase levels and muscle function status is recommended during treatment.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
