Indications

Ativan (Lorazepam) is indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders, as well as for the short-term management of anxiety and associated insomnia. It is also used in anesthetic premedication and in the treatment of acute anxiety episodes. This medication acts as an anxiolytic and sedative, helping to reduce tension and anxiety in patients who require it. Composition

Each Ativan tablet contains: Lorazepam 2 mg as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients such as lactose, starch, and other inactive components that facilitate the formulation of the medication.

Contraindications

Ativan is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lorazepam or to any of the product's excipients. It should not be administered in cases of severe respiratory insufficiency, sleep apnea syndrome, or in patients with a history of substance abuse.
