Indications
Atemperator Lp is indicated for the treatment of manic episodes in patients with bipolar disorder, as well as for the prevention of epileptic seizures in patients with epilepsy. Its anticonvulsant action is due to the stabilization of neuronal electrical activity, which helps to decrease the frequency and severity of seizures. In addition, it can be used as an additional treatment in cases of behavioral disorders related to epilepsy.
Composition
Each tablet contains 600 mg of magnesium valproate as an active ingredient, in addition to suitable excipients for its formulation.
Contraindications
Atemperator Lp is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to valproate or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of severe liver diseases, pancreatitis, or urea disorders. It is also contraindicated in pregnant and lactating women, except under specific medical advice.
Precautions
Periodic monitoring of liver function and blood valproate levels is necessary during treatment. Special care should be taken in patients with a history of hematological disorders or metabolic diseases. In addition, it is recommended to avoid concomitant use with other medications that may increase the risk of toxicity.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
