Indications
Aspirin Jr 100 mg is indicated for the treatment of fever and pain in children and adolescents. Its use is recommended in cases of mild to moderate pain, such as headache, dental pain, and muscle pain. It is also used for the symptomatic treatment of fever associated with viral diseases. Additionally, it may be recommended in the management of acute and chronic inflammatory processes, such as arthritis.
Composition
Each tablet contains:
- Acetylsalicylic Acid 100 mg
Excipients: corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, talc, and magnesium stearate.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or any other component of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of active peptic ulcer, severe liver disease, severe renal failure, or in patients with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding. Its use is not recommended in children with viral diseases presenting with fever, due to the risk of Reye's syndrome.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of asthma, cardiovascular disease, or bleeding disorders. It is important to monitor kidney function in patients receiving prolonged treatments. Concomitant use with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) is not recommended without medical supervision.

Store at room temperature, in a dry and cool place, out of reach of children. Protect from direct sunlight and humidity.
