Indications

Aspirin Effervescent 500 mg is indicated for the treatment of various conditions, including:

• Relief of mild to moderate pain, such as headache, muscle pain, menstrual pain, and dental pain.
• Fever reduction in febrile states.
• Prevention of cardiovascular events in high-risk patients, such as myocardial infarction or strokes, under medical supervision.
• Treatment of inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, in appropriate doses and under medical indication.

Composition

Each effervescent tablet contains:

• Acetylsalicylic Acid: 500 mg
• Excipients: Sodium carbonate, citric acid, and other excipients necessary for the effervescent formulation.

Contraindications

Aspirin Effervescent should not be used in the following situations:

• Hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or any component of the formula.
• Patients with a history of gastric ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding.
• Severe liver or kidney diseases.
• Patients with bleeding disorders.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in the following cases:

• Use in patients with asthma, as it may cause bronchospasm in some cases.
• In elderly individuals or those with chronic diseases, constant monitoring is recommended.
• Avoid concomitant use with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) without medical supervision.
