Indications
Asoflon-Duo is indicated for the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men. This medication combines two agents: dutasteride, a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor that helps reduce prostate gland size and improve urinary flow, and tamsulosin, an alpha-blocker that facilitates urination by relaxing the muscles of the prostate and bladder. The combination of these two molecules allows for a comprehensive approach to managing urinary symptoms, improving the patient's quality of life.
Composition
Each capsule contains:
- Dutasteride: 0.50 mg
- Tamsulosin: 0.40 mg
Contraindications
Asoflon-Duo is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the formula's components. It should not be administered to women and children, as its use is reserved for adult men. Additionally, it is contraindicated in patients with a history of severe adverse reactions to other 5-alpha reductase inhibitors.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of liver disease, as well as in those who are undergoing concomitant treatment with other medications that may affect the metabolism of dutasteride or tamsulosin. Regular medical follow-up is important to evaluate treatment response and rule out the presence of prostate cancer.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
