Indications

Arretin cream is indicated for the treatment of acne vulgaris in patients requiring topical therapy. In addition, it is used in the treatment of dermal alterations such as keratosis pilaris and photoaging, as tretinoin acts as a skin renewing agent, promoting cell exfoliation and improving skin appearance. This medication is effective in reducing comedones, papules, and pustules, as well as improving skin texture and tone. It is essential that Arretin cream be used under the supervision of a healthcare professional to ensure proper management and efficacy.

Composition

Each 100 g of Arretin cream contains: Tretinoin 0.05 g. Excipients: Benzoic acid, cetyl alcohol, glycerin, sodium chloride, purified water.

Contraindications

Arretin cream is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to tretinoin or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with exfoliative dermatitis, eczema, or in areas with sunburn or severe irritations. Likewise, its use during pregnancy and lactation is contraindicated due to possible adverse effects on the fetus or infant.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when applying Arretin cream to sensitive skin or open wounds. It is advisable to avoid excessive sun exposure and the use of irritating products in combination with this treatment. Patients are advised not to use other topical treatments without first consulting their doctor. Contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and damaged skin areas should also be avoided.

Storage

Arretin cream should be stored at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
