Indications
Arnaltem Oint 0.03% is indicated for the treatment of various dermatological conditions, including atopic dermatitis and seborrheic dermatitis in patients who have not responded adequately to conventional topical treatments. This medication acts as an immunomodulator that inhibits T-lymphocyte activation, contributing to the reduction of inflammation and the improvement of symptoms associated with these conditions. Topical application of tacrolimus can be a safe and effective alternative for patients seeking to control flare-ups of these skin diseases.
Composition
Each 100 g of ointment contains: Tacrolimus 0.03 g. Excipients: microcrystalline wax, lanolin, polysorbate 80, liquid paraffin, and purified water.
Contraindications
Arnaltem Oint is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to tacrolimus or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in children under 2 years of age. Likewise, it should not be applied to skin areas with active viral, bacterial, or fungal infections, or to skin areas exposed to UV radiation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Arnaltem Oint in patients with a history of skin neoplasms. Prolonged sun exposure to treated areas and simultaneous use of other topical products in the same area should be avoided unless otherwise directed by a physician. It is important to follow the physician's instructions regarding the duration of treatment and the amount of ointment to apply.
Storage
Store at room temperature between 15°C and 30°C. Keep the product in its original packaging and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
