Indications

Argentafil 1% Cream is indicated for the treatment of second and third-degree burns, as well as for the prevention and treatment of infections in wounds and skin ulcers. Its antibacterial action is due to the release of silver ions, which have antimicrobial properties and promote the healing process. It is useful in the management of infected skin lesions and in the treatment of pressure sores.

Composition

Each 100 g of cream contains: 1 g of silver sulfadiazine. Excipients: purified water, glycerin, glyceryl stearate, among others.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to silver sulfadiazine or any other component of the formula. It should not be applied to extensive lesions or areas of skin with severe burns.

Precautions

It is recommended to use with caution in patients with a history of hematological diseases, as prolonged use may affect bone marrow function. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of irritation or adverse reaction, discontinue treatment and consult a physician.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date printed on the packaging.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
