Indications

Arcoxia is indicated for the treatment of acute pain, including postoperative pain and pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions. It is also used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and gout, providing relief by reducing inflammation and pain. Its use is recommended for patients who require short-term and long-term pain management, always under the supervision of a doctor. Composition

Each tablet contains 90 mg of etoricoxib as active ingredient. Excipients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, starch, among others.

Contraindications

Arcoxia is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to etoricoxib or any component of the formulation, as well as in those with a history of serious adverse reactions to other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It should not be administered to patients with severe heart failure, active liver disease, or those with active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding.

Precautions

Caution is advised when administering Arcoxia to patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, renal or hepatic insufficiency, as well as in those who consume excessive alcohol. It is important to monitor renal and hepatic function during treatment, as well as blood pressure, especially in elderly patients.
