Indications
Algitrin is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate fever and pain, including headaches, muscle pain, dental pain, and menstrual discomfort. It is also used in the management of pain associated with inflammatory and postoperative processes. This medication combines two active ingredients, paracetamol and ibuprofen, which act synergistically to provide effective pain and fever relief, making it suitable for patients requiring more intensive control of these symptoms.
Composition
Each Algitrin tablet contains:
- Paracetamol: 325 mg
- Ibuprofen: 200 mg
Contraindications
Algitrin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the product's components. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, or severe renal failure. Furthermore, it is contraindicated in patients with severe liver diseases or those undergoing anticoagulant treatment, except under strict medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Algitrin in patients with a history of heart disease, high blood pressure, liver or kidney disease. It is important to avoid alcohol intake during treatment due to the risk of liver toxicity. Monitoring renal and liver function is recommended in patients requiring prolonged treatment. Its use is not recommended in children under 12 years of age without medical supervision.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
