Indications

Aldara is indicated for the treatment of actinic keratosis (a form of non-melanoma skin cancer), as well as for the treatment of condylomata acuminata (genital warts) and for the treatment of superficial basal cell carcinoma in adults. Imiquimod acts as an immunomodulator, stimulating the immune system to fight abnormal cells in the skin.

Composition

Each sachet of Aldara contains 5% imiquimod as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients such as purified water, cetyl alcohol, propylene glycol, among others.

Contraindications

Aldara is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to imiquimod or any of the cream's components. It should not be applied to infected skin lesions, or to areas of skin with dermatitis or acute inflammation.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of autoimmune diseases or those receiving immunosuppressive treatments. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and open wounds. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate medical supervision.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep the product in its original packaging and out of the reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
