Indications
Albothyl is indicated for the treatment of dermal and mucosal lesions, as well as for the management of inflammatory and ulcerative processes of the skin. It is effective in the treatment of canker sores, cold sores, and lesions from chemical or physical irritation. It is also used in the treatment of radiation lesions and inflammatory processes of the mucous membranes, helping tissue regeneration and reducing pain associated with these lesions. Its action is based on the formation of a protective film that promotes the healing process and prevents secondary infections.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Albothyl contains: Policresulen 407.5 mg. Excipients: purified water, glycerol, benzalkonium chloride.
Contraindications
Albothyl is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be applied to deep lesions or open surgical wounds. Likewise, its use is contraindicated in cases of untreated bacterial or fungal infections, as well as in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Albothyl on extensive skin areas or injured mucous membranes. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of local irritation or adverse reactions, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate medical supervision.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date printed on the packaging.
