Indications
Albothyl Vaginal Gel is indicated for the treatment of benign cervical lesions, as well as for the prevention of vaginal infections. Its policresulen-based formulation acts as a coagulant and anti-inflammatory agent, facilitating the recovery of affected tissues. This product can be used in the treatment of conditions such as cervicitis, vaginosis, and other gynecological disorders requiring local intervention. Furthermore, its use is recommended in the context of gynecological procedures involving cervical manipulation. It is suggested to follow the doctor's instructions for proper and effective use.
Composition
Each 100 g of Albothyl Gel contains: Policresulen 1.8 g. Excipients: purified water, glycerin, hydroxyethylcellulose, citric acid, among others.
Contraindications
This product is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in cases of acute or severe vaginal infections, as well as in patients with a history of bleeding problems. Avoid use during pregnancy unless indicated by a doctor.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of vaginal irritation or dermatological problems in the application area. Do not apply to open wounds or severe lesions. Keep out of reach of children. It is important to follow up with the treating physician during the use of the product.
Storage
Store at room temperature, in a dry and cool place, protected from light. Do not refrigerate. Check the expiration date before use.
