Indications
Taltz (Ixekizumab) is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis in adults who are candidates for systemic therapy or phototherapy. It is also used in the treatment of psoriatic arthritis in adults, as well as in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis in patients who have not responded adequately to other treatments. The efficacy of Taltz has been proven in clinical studies demonstrating a significant improvement in patients' quality of life by reducing the area and severity of skin lesions, as well as the signs and symptoms of joint diseases.
Composition
Each Taltz pen contains 80 mg of Ixekizumab in a sterile solution. Additionally, it contains excipients such as sodium chloride, sodium phosphate, water for injection, among others, which facilitate the administration of the medication.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ixekizumab or any of the formulation components. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe active infections or those with a history of recurrent infections.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of tuberculosis, chronic infections, or those who are immunocompromised. Regular follow-up of patients is important to detect signs of infection and assess treatment tolerance. It is recommended to avoid live vaccinations while undergoing treatment with Taltz.
Storage
Store refrigerated between 2°C and 8°C. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
