Indications
P-Hysplan (Sirolimus) is indicated for the prevention of graft rejection in patients who have received a kidney transplant, as well as in the treatment of certain types of cancer, such as advanced renal cell carcinoma. Its use is based on its ability to suppress the body's immune response, which is crucial in the context of transplants and neoplastic diseases. It can be used in combination with other immunosuppressants to achieve better efficacy in controlling graft rejection, as well as to manage transplant-associated complications.
Composition
Each P-Hysplan tablet contains 1 mg of Sirolimus as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
P-Hysplan is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Sirolimus or to any of the excipients present in the formulation. Its use should also be avoided in patients with uncontrolled systemic infections, as well as in those with severe liver or kidney function problems.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of recurrent infections, as the use of Sirolimus may increase the risk of infections. Monitoring of blood lipid levels is recommended, as this medication can cause hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia. Likewise, renal function should be considered before starting treatment, and the dose adjusted if necessary. Use in pregnant or breastfeeding women is not recommended unless the benefit outweighs the risk.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
