Indications
Zyxem Drops, whose active ingredient is levocetirizine, is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, rhinorrhea, nasal and ocular itching, as well as for the relief of symptoms in chronic idiopathic urticaria. Levocetirizine acts by blocking the effects of histamine, a chemical mediator involved in allergic reactions, which helps reduce inflammation and associated discomfort.
Composition
Each ml of Zyxem Drops contains 5 mg of levocetirizine dihydrochloride. It also includes excipients such as sorbitol, citric acid, and purified water.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to levocetirizine, other antihistamines, or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use should also be avoided in patients with severe renal impairment.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of seizures, as levocetirizine may lower the seizure threshold. In addition, care should be taken in patients with moderate renal impairment. Use in children under 2 years of age is not recommended without medical supervision. It is advisable to avoid alcohol consumption, as it may potentiate the sedative effects of levocetirizine.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
